'Wacky' Magnets ™ was established in 1997. The wacky magnet concept was created by Carolyn Smith, a former banker and life-long crafter. Approximately two years later, magnetic paper doll and teddy bear sets with magnetic clothing product was added. It's a popular segment of the business. The collectible and whimsical hand crafted magnets are made from recycled junk mail catalogs, vintage magazines and newspapers. Some call the hand crafted magnet collectibles recycled art. Smith targets her products to those who desire a bit of whimsy and a good chuckle. Collectors eagerly gobble up the uniquely hand crafted magnets and assorted whimsy. With many choices, there's a magnet for everyone! The eclectic magnets are both 'amusingly nutty' and 'intriguingly absurd.'
